Features

High Pressure Resistance: The valve body features a one-piece forged construction, reducing internal shrinkage cavities and porosity defects compared to cast structures, and is suitable for pressure ratings of Class 800–Class 2500.

Low Maintenance: The valve seat has a replaceable structure (welded or threaded connection). After wear on the sealing surface, the entire valve does not need to be replaced; only the valve seat assembly needs to be replaced to restore sealing function.

Durability: Utilizing OS&Y external threads and a rising stem structure, the moving parts of the stem are isolated from the medium, and the stuffing box only bears the sealing function, thereby reducing packing wear and leakage adjustment frequency caused by medium intrusion.

Compatible with Multiple Piping Connections: Both flange connections (ASME B16.5) and butt-welded connections (ASME B16.25) are available at the ends, allowing selection of the appropriate connection type based on the piping system design.

Applications

Oil and Gas: Used in high-pressure transmission pipelines and equipment for media flow regulation and equipment isolation control.

Chemical Industry: Used in reaction units and transmission pipelines to control media flow and reaction conditions by adjusting valve opening.

Power Industry: Used in boilers and steam systems for steam flow regulation and system start-up and shutdown control.

Marine Engineering and Corrosive Environments: Can be manufactured according to NACE MR0103 requirements for controlling the on/off and flow of corrosive media in sulfur-containing or corrosive media environments.

FAQ

Q: How to select the valve type under high pressure conditions?

A: Select the appropriate Class (e.g., Class 800 to 2500) based on the system design pressure, and verify the material strength range in conjunction with temperature conditions. Prioritize butt-welded connections to reduce the risk of leakage at the connection points.

Q: What to do when the valve seat wears out?

A: This structure features a replaceable valve seat design. The valve seat assembly can be removed and replaced depending on the connection type (welded or threaded), without replacing the entire valve. This is suitable for applications requiring periodic maintenance.

Q: How to reduce valve stem seal leakage?

A: During use, regularly check the packing tightness and avoid frequent, large-stroke, rapid opening and closing. The OS&Y structure isolates the valve stem from the medium; further maintenance can extend the packing life.
